Mr. Billy Crotts Adams, 84, formerly of 311 Adams Lane, Denton, NC, died Friday, October 23, 2009, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, Winston-Salem.

A memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 29, 2009, at Fairview United Methodist Church, Trinity, NC, with the Rev. Doug Rowe officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.

Mr. Adams was a native of Davidson County and was a Methodist minister. He had served in the US Navy during World War II where he received a Broken Duck Award. Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his wife, Phoebe Loretta Adams.

Survivors include his daughter, Alecia Adams Evans, New Preston, CT; sons, Steve Adams, of Denton, Laurie Adams, of Denton, Kevin Adams and wife, Patricia, of High Point; sister, Nell Adams and husband, Hoyt, of Thomasville; brother, Danny Adams, of CO; and three grandchildren.
